As the High Judge, Jacques is tasked with a menagerie of middling, menial mastications: Trials of seemingly no real purpose and no real end, one being the 'Living-ising' of the sentient Non-Living.

His behavioural eccentricities, cognitive fixations and less-than-pleasant personality alienated him from his 'traditional' hometown and fuelled his erotomanic desire to one day reside with the enigmatic alien that took over the country.

He succeeded in this endeavour and has been reaping the consequences ever since.
